Did Robin Cook, MP die a natural death?

by Michael Smith (Veshengro)

OK, folks, I have put my conspiracy theorist hat on again and am just wondering because his death, from heart failure while hiking in the Scottish mountains, came but a short while after he made the following statement:

There is no Al-Qaida: The truth is, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al Qaida. And any informed intelligence officer knows this. But there is a propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an identified entity representing the 'devil' only in order to drive the TV watcher to accept a unified international leadership for a war against terrorism. The country behind this propaganda is the US . . .”

He made this statement apparently on Friday, August 5, 2005 and, as said, a day after this, Robin Cook and his wife, Gaynor, took a two-week holiday in the Highlands of Scotland. At around 2:20 pm, on Saturday, August 6, 2005, whilst walking down Ben Stack in Sutherland, Scotland, he suddenly suffered a severe heart attack, collapsed and lost consciousness. A helicopter containing paramedics arrived 30 minutes after a 999 call was made. Cook then was flown to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. Gaynor did not get in the helicopter, and was left to walk down the mountain. Despite efforts made by the medical team to revive Robin Cook in the helicopter, he was already beyond recovery, and at 4:05pm, minutes after arrival at the hospital, was pronounced dead. Two days later, a postmortem revealed that Cook died of hypertensive heart disease.

In a column for the Guardian four weeks before his death, Cook caused a stir when he described Al-Qaeda as a product of a western intelligence: Bin Laden was, though, a product of a monumental miscalculation by Western security agencies. Throughout the 80s he was armed by the CIA and funded by the Saudis to wage jihad against the Russian occupation of Afghanistan. Al-Qaida, literally "the database", was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians.

Thus, Al-Qaida, as an Islamic army, is the figment of the imagination of the CIA and now used in order to create false flag operation to facilitate a reason for suppressing the freedoms of the people more and more. Now who would have thought.

The problem, however, is that almost everyone in the Western world seems to believe what they are being told by their respective governments as to the supposed existence of this Islamic army and thus those Islamic terrorists.

The question as to whether Robin Cook's death was a natural one or one induced by something or other must remain standing in the room, so to speak. And there are, in my mind at least, also serious questions as to the response of the emergency services at the time of the incident.

  1. It took the chopper 30 minutes to arrive. This was a heart attack victim and any delay would have fatal consequences.
  2. His wife did not get into the helicopter. Why not? I assume they did not want her aboard. If that is the case then why?
  3. And because of the fact that no witnesses were present on the flight no one can prove that they did everything to save his life.

Let's face it! Robin Cook was becoming a danger to the establishment by making the statements that he did as regards to Al-Qaida and the rest and thus Ii would not put it past any of the governments to be behind his death.

I am sure we will never, at least not as far as Ii am concerned, get a satisfactory answer to this and all anyone is ever going to do is regurgitate the official line. Thus we must think our own thoughts on this matter and be ever watchful.
